I'm crying and don't know how to rate the book. But I'm going to settle at 5 because I was deeply moved-to tears by the love in this book. Not just the romantic love between the main characters but the freeing love of parents and the forgiving love of hurt children and parents. I know true devotion and love often starts in friendship and respect as shown in the book and that this love and respect can help us in all other aspects of our lives, which is an important reminder I take from this book. I also appreciate the way this book shows a belief in God that doesn't need big announcements or 'things', sometimes and often faith is just quiet and steady. It was a book I needed at this moment in my life, thanks Ms. Kingsbury!
