I went into reading this with high, HIGH expectations, and I was let down. Not that the book is bad, it just wasn’t extraordinary like I was told. While it was “spicy,” I’ve read “spicier” fanfic that didn’t include two serial killers. The yearning was great, though. I’ll give it that, and the author did a great job with time jumps and not everyone can do those well.
I am not a true crime girlie, and I think that’s where this book really hits with. I’m fine with saying it’s a solid book and I will be finishing the series; however, I know I am not the target demographic.
