The Lady Gets Lucky by Joanna Shupe
5.0
Not gonna lie I got nervous when I am not a fan of fast-burns in novels, but Shupe managed to create amazing tension and keep it going the whole way through.
Alice grew so much and I loved her arc. She became more confident and put herself first, it was amazing to see. Her growing friendship with Nellie was heart-warming. I can't wait to read the other characters' romances.
Kit becomes so obsessed with his woman it's amazing. His stance on marriage lasted a bit too long for my taste, I feel like there wasn't really any reason for it.
They both dealt with insecurity in different ways and the way they come together and grow was beautiful to see.
