I'm 100% biased because I love robot stories.
I absolutely loved the first part, very Wall-E vibes. , but the second part was very different and felt a little unoriginal. A couple of things in here and there were super convenient. I had this constant feeling that I've read/seen this story before somewhere, and that's not just because it's a retelling.
Regardless, the humor is very original and specific to TJ Klune, and I enjoyed it very much.
