Eleven on Top
by Janet Evanovich
This book series is basically racing th same book over and ov gag aim. But sometimes you just need a little mindless stupidity in your life. Those books are just that for me. It's relatively fun to read, it's easy and fast and not at all memorable. But still good in its own way because of that.
This book has the typical plum basics. The romance back and forth between ranger/morreli/plum, her cars keep getting blown up, her family is crazy as usual and she is getting shot and/or kidnapped at least once.
What was new was that plum actually did not work as an official bonds person in this book but instead took a jobwith ranger, in a way becoming a crime researcher and honestly that worked much better for me for her then having her be an actual bonds person. Let's face it she is horrible in that job and having to be saved at every turn anyways. So way not just have a whole team as her backup right away?
This series is not something I have to reread (most likely at least since it is more or less the same book over and I feel again and evanovich is still pushing books for this series out like someone is after her Plum style, so realistically I will most like be so over this series and never want to even hear the name again before I run out of new books to read!!) but it is an entertaining and fast book to put in between books that are heavier or take a lot out of me.
And since all books are constantly rehashing what already happened from book one on, you can really start everywhere and know what happens without problems. So extra point for that, evanovich!
This was fun and now I will work on finishing something bigger and better and get back to this series again when I need a brain break.
