I really enjoyed this. The friendship turned romance between Summer and Jules was so well done. They were in each other’s corner in a way that was really well done and heartwarming. I loved that both Summer and Jules had people besides each other in their corners especially in world like Hollywood and as young famous teens. I was so pissed by Summer’s abusive parents and Jules’ ex-best friend. They were the epitome of “it be your own people”. I loved the mental health aspect and how it shows that you can already have mental illness but putting the stress of being a celebrity with toxic people around you definitely exacerbates it. Was I the biggest fan of the music? Not really but there was never full songs, so I wasn’t pulling my hair. Overall, I enjoyed the writing, the romance, the plot and characters.
