Everything's Eventual by Stephen King
4.0
I came upon reading this solely to get to “The Little Sisters of Eluria” as I’m on a quest to read every SK work connected to the Dark Tower series before I continue on that journey.
In the end, this was a good collection of 11 short stories and 3 novellas.
A couple of them were mediocre stories that had a ton of potential if given more context and pages.
A couple truly horrifying stories that had my skin shivering, especially the opening story “Autopsy Room 4”, “The Man in the Black Suit”, and “Riding the Bullet”.
I would love if the namesake of this collection “Everything’s Eventual” was a full novel and would eat it up, especially with its connections to Ted Brautigan of Hearts in Atlantis which was easily the most interesting aspect of that novel.
