Sometimes a book is exactly, perfectly right in every way — the characters, the pacing, the tone — everything just precisely how you want a book to always feel. Season’s Change is exactly, perfectly right. It is the best version of every trope it employs, and makes them all seem both fresh and familiar. It has the right balance of hockey and kissing, and while it’s absolutely a slow burn there isn’t a single moment that’s unsatisfying. I want every book I read to always feel like this one.
Graphic: Homophobia and Panic attacks/disorders
Moderate: Vomit and Alcohol
