This might be my new favourite book. It was definitely a hard, uncomfortable read. But beautifully written. Although it was through Vanessa’s point of view, and as much as she defended Strane and blamed herself, you you still see the ways Strane manipulated her and the way she thinks. It’s tragic how her experience with him drastically changed her entire life, and I wish there was more character development but really it just shows the reality of being groomed and the phycology behind it. Read this book!!!
