Giving this 3.5 stars (rounding up). This is generally a feel-good book about friendship, finding people in your life who lift you up and help you go on, even when life is beating the hell out of you. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the narration - she brought these interesting characters to life with different voices and inflection that were not too hokey. I thought the characters were well drawn and I was invested in their outcome -- wanting them all to have happy endings. Nothing too heavy hitting here - this is a nice, light summer read without being outright fluff.
