Nothing Lasts Forever
by Roderick Thorp
Die Hard is one of my favorite movies (in the Christmas line-up every year!), and this is one of the rare cases where the movie really is better than the book - BUT, the book was still very entertaining, and I was surprised to see exactly how much of the book was translated directly to the movie. The writing was a little chaotic and confusing, and I was glad to have seen the movie so I could picture what was going on (and even then, some parts I couldn't fully comprehend the scene). Pretty quick read, and worth it for Die Hard (the movie) fans, but as a warning: the book is considerably darker (fewer comedic moments), especially the ending.
