Angels' Flight by Nalini Singh

5.0

Angel's Flight is a nice addtion to the Guild Huter series. Three of the four stories have been previously published, whether in another anthology or online, but it's nice to have them all in one place. The fourth book Angel's Dance was the sole new story, but it is well worth the read. We finally get the background story of Jessamy and Galen whom we are introducted to in the second Guild Hunter Book Archangel's Kiss when Raphael and Elena go to the refuge. It takes place roughly 400 years before the events of the series proper and it's a sweet love story about finally learning to accept yourself and the things that you deserve. Along the way we also get glimpses of Raphael, Illium, Jason, Dmitri among others. We also start to see the unfolding of Illium's relationship with his mortal that's been talked about in pieces throughout the series. I wounder if his whole story will get a full novel sometime in the future?

Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series is one that I really like and I enjoy even more the small glimpses she gives us in the short stories. It maked the whole world that she's created very full and complex. I look forward to Jason's story [b:Archangel's Storm|9738483|Archangel's Storm (Guild Hunter, #5)|Nalini Singh|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1330468580s/9738483.jpg|16186138] in August. Until Then!
