The Burnout by Sophie Kinsella

slow-paced

3.75

Burning out at a job that seems to be working against you no matter how hard you try is very relatable. Needing a break from mundane life and wanting to go to a time or place where you just remember being happy is also very, very relatable.
The connection between the love interest was really nice. It wasn't an instant love type of moment. Just 2 people where their paths crossed in many ways without them knowing it.
I really liked how the "third break up" scene was a mutual understanding that they both needed time apart (even though there was a misunderstanding that brewed). Not having someone's heartbreak felt like a breath of fresh air.

I really enjoyed reading this book.
