I watched the film first. It was the first time I ever did it this way, it's always vice versa : I read the book and if I love it that much I decide to watch the film, knowing beforehand I'll hate it, as the book is always better. However, it never stops me as I crave to see more of the story. This time I watched the film and absolutely loved it. It was the most beautiful love story, the aesthetics shows the pure joy and easiness of summer. I fell in love with Elio and Oliver, and the ending broke my heart, so I needed more!! Reading 3 books at a time, I didn't really have time to start another, so I was so happy to know that there's an audio book READ BY ARMIE HAMMER himself! My goood, it was insanely beautiful. The writing is something incomparable, one of the best things I've ever read in the writing sense. Armies voice is beautiful, sexual, emotional; his reading is beautiful, and even though English isn't my first language, I understood every word clearly, didn't have any language difficulties.
Okay, this review is unnecessary long. I just loved every second of it, every word. It's beautiful.
