I enjoyed the beginning of the book, particularly the introduction of Elio, which was well-crafted and intriguing. However, as the story progressed the plot seemed to lose direction. The connection between Elio and Daisy felt too insta and lacking depth. Many parts of the book felt unnecessary, leading me to skip through pages as the plot didn't seem to offer much beyond Elio's role as a sex worker. Overall, it started strong but ultimately didn't maintain its momentum.
