ARC Review

Jaime L. Tlax delivers a fantastic new dark fantasy romance with Betrayals of the broken. It’s got drama, hidden identities, lovable side characters, and, you guessed it, tons of betrayal. And there’s a very unique take on the ‘immortal main character’ that is just incredible.

Ever is a stubborn, self sufficient fmc with enough of a tragic backstory to fill its own novel. She doesn’t trust easily, and with good reason.

Eli is dark and broody, everything you want in a dark romance mmc. He never wants to tell Ever anything, except the things she *doesn’t* want to know, and it’s the best.

This may be a slow burn, but damn do they start flirting, and fighting of course, early on.

And the ending?? If I don’t get my hands on book 2 asap, I may just explode 😫
