I wish this book existed when I was a kid - fairies, secret passageways, and magic - three of my favorite things as a child (I used to search my house for secret passageways). This was a fun read. The only thing that bugged me was

that the fairies in charge of protecting her and keeping her from the woods were the ones that caused her to go into the woods. That part made zero sense.
