Stepping Stones by Lucy Knisley
5.0
I'm such a Lucy Kinsley fangirl, ever since I bought her first book, a travelogue about a trip to Paris with her mom, while I was studying abroad in Paris and my mom came to visit me and I dragged her into a comics shop.
I didn't seek this one out since it's pitched as a book for middle readers, but when I found a copy in a Little Free Library, of COURSE I had to nab it. And you know what? I gobbled it up and kept thinking about it when I wasn't reading it. There's plenty here for an adult reader, and I'm pretty sure I'm not just saying that as a fan.
