Beweise, daß es böse ist by Donna Leon

adventurous challenging mysterious sad medium-paced

4.0

This book playes nicely with the readers feelings towards the characters. A murder victim, that was a not very nice person and nobody liked. Her son, who died from AIDS and looked that his mother had enough money. An attorney, that loves her dog. A niece, that is not portraid nicely and like she was not that intelligent.
All that while Paola reads Chiaras catechism school book and they discuss the seven deadly sins. This is woven in nicely into the plot.
I also enjoyed the plot where ternente Scarpa tries to get on Brunettis nerves.
