I was excited for this book originally , however, this author did one of the things I don’t enjoy seeing in books. I can’t réveal it without spoilers but I wish white authors wouldn’t try to be “diverse” in the way they write their POC characters.  It’s not their place to write certain characters and it’s frustrating to see.
