Do you ever have to force yourself to finish a book? I sorta had to do that for this situation.

1) Sunny was one of the most annoying female characters I've ever read about. I found her really annoying, partly, because she never went with her gut and always listened to other people and how they thought about Buck: believing in pictures and ignoring Buck. Like, lady! Let him explain! She was whinny, judgmental, immature, and was such a princess. Like, ugh.

2) I really hoped in the end they wouldn't end up together. In all my experience with reading stories, this was one of the only stories I felt they shouldn't end up together. Just because you hold out on sex, doesn't mean it's something special. Some people have sex on the first date, and end up with a story of a lifetime. They hadn't really connected.

3) The best part of this book was when they found
SpoilerSuper MC's Cape.

4) I had to skim my way through the last part of the book.

5) For most romance books I've come across, I've really felt an attachment to the main characters, and I feel what they go through. I emphasize; but for this story, I didn't give a shit about what happened.

All in all, Alex and Violet are responsible for me even reading this.

And, uh, I confess I read this because I didn't want to miss out on anything Waters related.
