Gwen and Art Are Not in Love by Lex Croucher

3.0

I found this book to be very enjoyable, it was one of those nice easy brainless reads and I really liked that about this book.

The characters were nice especially Gabriel in my opinion and the plot was really enjoyable to follow. The relationships were realistic dealing with a lot of self-hatred and not accepting yourself for who you are, and close friends helping you with that. It was nice seeing Art and Gwen building their relationship and becoming more accepting of one another and helping each-other.

Art and Gabriel’s relationship was the most enjoyable in my opinion, when I was reading this book I felt like the author liked this pairing more thus making them more interesting. I think that the way they became aware of each other’s feelings was real sweet and I enjoyed it a lot.

Although I liked this book I also have some issues with it.
I do really think the character development and plot were good but I felt like the end was rushed. I would’ve loved to see more about the relationship between Art and Gabriel and what the future holds for them. If Gabriel truly accepts himself and it would’ve been nice to maybe see more of that and I would’ve liked to see Gwen and Bridget work around their long distance relationship, and their different opinions (because they are both pretty stubborn.)

To conclude I think the book was very enjoyable to read and I would recommend this to anyone who just wants to read an easy no brainer romance book!
