Repetitive, boring, this was a meh for me. I found the main characters slightly obnoxious - and complained about the dumbest things. Like - everyone kept stealing her ideas (IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE) and no one said anything, which was weird, not even to her. No one ever came up to her like, hey wasn't that your idea? She also didn't say anything until the very end when all of a sudden the rest of her team decided to also defend her, with just the flimsiest excuses as to why, just complained constantly about it the whole book. Her female friendships felt very forced (like, hi we're here for the sequels and to justify the idea for the app), and shallow. She had a huge chip on her shoulder about her app development and wouldn't let anyone help because the rest of her outrageous success means nothing apparently. She also was an expert in several different things (cybersecurity and app development and whatever else she was doing), which is not super accurate. The romance was meh, and then we had to throw in a big dumb conflict right at the end because oh wait, we need some conflict.
