This book absolutely destroyed me. I needed a week to comprise myself before writing a review.
After reading Binding 13/Keeping 13 and then Saving 6 I knew I was in for a rough ride with this being the conclusion to Joey and Aoife’s story but I couldn’t have imagined how rough it would get.
Seeing what Joey goes through from his viewpoint is heart wrenching. Also Aoife’s unwavering dedication to get him through his addictions was so powerful.
Fear not though because this is a romance so we know we’re getting an HEA but boy is it a rough road to get there.
Honestly this book will 100% be in my top 10 of the year. The only other book I’ve read where I have felt so emotionally attached to the characters is Manacled.
Definitely check trigger warnings as there are some pretty upsetting scenes.
