This is one of those books where 5 stars can't possibly be enough. This book details the historical and present failings of Kkkanada against Indigenous peoples. It delves into every aspect of the genocide the Kkkanada has committed - from the 60s scoop to residential schools, and the horrific violence they committed against rightful and peaceful protestors. But also, this book discussed so many events, riots, and raids committed by the colonial state I'd never heard of. I was shocked at how much I didn't know, that I had barely scratched the surface in my knowledge of Indigenous genocide and oppression. This book MUST be read. This book was brilliant - in its storytelling, art, and its impeccable presentation of the facts leading up to each event.
