This was an interesting read. I don't think I've ever read a book where people travel through a wormhole. The plot was a mix of time travel, extinction events and repopulating a new planet.
The pacing was a little slow at times. I found myself skimming paragraphs. I did put the book down a few times to come back to it later.
The characters were good. I felt bad for Rey because everyone has their assigned jobs and particular skills whereas she was just chosen because of her written essay. She felt left out and useless.
There were a few plot twists that I didn't see coming. They were done well and really made the plot more interesting.
The ending was ok but I'm looking forward to reading the next book and finding out what happens to everyone.
