𝑷𝑳𝑶𝑻: i can't even begin to describe how good the plot is! the amount of plot twists ugh i kept being like WHAT??? if u like fantasy and unexpexted things revealing at every corner, u have to read this book. it's become my fav series bc it always keeps me guessing, wanting to know more about upcoming war between Phoenix Riders and an Empire and Ashfires' family in general. i've got no other words to describe how good it is, just read it 😩 also, i've mentioned this before, but phoenixes in a fantasy series?? we need more of it!!!

𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑪𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑺: Veronyka, Val, Tristan, Sev, Kade, Sparrow, Cassian, Alexiya – i love them all in my own ways 🥺 the author managed to develop every character so splendidly, i connected with each of them no problem! although Val is an enemy, i sometimes ended up agreeing with her and Veronyka got me rolling my eyes and thinking she's naive... obvs i rooted for Veronyka and Tristan only 😂 all the characters have their own goods and flaws, it's amazing how all of them are so different!

𝑾𝑹𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑺𝑻𝒀𝑳𝑬: i loved it, it was easy to read and i really liked that the author thought of putting letters in a book after the end of chapters or background story about queens of the empire long dead & their phoenixes.
