This was fun. I found some parts dragged on a bit and I'll admit it didn't always hold my attention especially in the middle when we had more and more POVs, but the final act made up for that and was genuinely very entertaining.

All of my favorite parts were either Demeter or Steward POV (so SO good), but the other characters were quite entertaining even if I think all the extra POV changing was... unnecessary. I think the middle dragged on precisely because I was missing Demeter's perspective and wanted her back. That said, the whole cast is fun. Steve was a particularly fun side character, the selfish bastard. Frank is a bit of a wet blanket but, like, in an endearing way. And Agnes, formerly the angsty orphaned teen being mothered by a ship, became much more and one of my favorites by the end.
