The Year We Fell Down by Sarina Bowen
4.0

This book blew me away. Like actually sucked the breath right out of me.
In a good way ofcourse.

Sarina Bowen exceeded my expectations, when I read the synopsis I wasn't expecting something so raw and so real to come from that story.

Our main girl despite her limitations, has amazing strength and determination. She's also courageous, fun and for the most part happy.

Our main dude has his own demons, and a superficial relationship with the classical IT girl, but that relationship doesn't entirely factor in because she's in Europe experiencing some uh.. extra curricular activities.

Corey & Adam's friendship is built on a solid foundation of their shared yet utterly different "gimpness". While Adam helps Corey to find who she was post-accident, Corey helps Adam come to terms with who he is and where his heading.

These two are goals.
