The Magic Misfits: The Second Story by Neil Patrick Harris

3.0

This book didn't capture my attention at all. The personalities of the Magic Misfits seemed more caricatures than real. The twins spouted nonsense almost the entire book and Theo barely had a presence in the story. I think Harris's intention is to go through the different members of the society and focus on their story, but I don't want to wait that long to get a feeling for who some of these kids are. It might be too many characters in such a small page frame. At this point I don't have the motivation to continue on with this series. The stories aren't intriguing me and the over arching mystery isn't grabbing me either.
