I love Paranormal Romances - it falls in the the exact area between fantasy and reality that makes it very easy to fall into; especially if it is quite well written!

Calypso's Heart is the first book in what looks to be a whole new series about Vampires, Wolves, Seers, Witches etc but much of this book was laying the foundation to not just the romance but also the whole slew of characters who will, hopefully have their own HEAs.

Like most PNRs, Calypso's Heart also has a strong Insta _ Love plotline (Mating situations!); so if you aren't a fan of this plotline, maybe keep away - because it is overly strong in this book; as well as some cheesy situations between the main characters!

I really like the protagonists; Caly may come off as a brat at times, but she is still young so that's pardonable but she is also quirky and weirdly relatable! Blake, on the other is a dreamy and charming Wolf; one you could totally drool over! Though, the book could have used a little more structure - there were multiple POVs; yet there was no indication whose view we were reading, until I was halfway through the chapter!

I still definitely enjoyed the book; and would definitely pick up the next one in the series <3
