 I believe that Judy Lin is a genius and heaven sent. Words escape me , but this book was beautiful.  The descriptions! I know nothin  about Chinese mythology and wasn't lost for even a moment. Lin knows how to guide a story without information dumping and explains things to the reader naturally.  Anything that isn't understood can be read about in the very helpful guide put in the beginning & front of the story. 

I know this doesnt need a sequel but May Jinglang and Xue meet again someday.
