This a whimsical story of Morrigan Crow who grows up cursed, being blamed for anything bad that happens in her community, all because of what day she was born. She then runs and escapes death into a magical world of Nevermoor. However, it isn’t as simple as just escaping death when she realizes in order to stay in Nevermoor she must be one of nine people to win a competition to join the Wundrous Society. Morrigan, who the only talent she knows she has is to cause destruction, must navigate this competition and this new magical world she had no clue that existed.

Nevermoor is a fun whimsical story, it is action packed and you can truly picture this world that Jessica Townsend built. I loved the character of Morrigan Crow as she is naive about what is happening around her, but so are you as things just continue to develop and learn about Nevermoor and the Wundrous Society. This is a series and I look forward to seeing what else happens in this adventure!
