The Big Four
by Agatha Christie
definitely one of her wildest stories plot-wise, honestly a bit silly. however, i think a lot of reviewers giving this book a low rating aren’t taking into account that this was written in 1927 and only the 5th Poirot book she released so i feel like she was still experimenting with the character of Poirot. in many ways i see this book as an experiment, not only in the characters present, but in the plot. i still enjoyed the book- it’s definitely melodramatic but it’s fun and a light read
