I read The Saturday Night Ghost Club with my book club and had a blast discussing the nonlinear storytelling, character motivations, and how the mysterious ghost stories told to him as a child related to the main character's professor in the future. There was a lot going on and I stayed intrigued throughout. I liked how each new ghost story revealed a bit more of what the story was actually about - trauma, both physical and emotional, and how people deal with it. I expected a spooky story but was rewarded with so much more.
