Too Much Happiness by Alice Munro

2.0

I didn't realize when I checked this out that I had already read so many of the stories in it -- I recognized at least three of them, and so I skipped them. I can't decide how much I like Alice Munro, and I sort of feel that I should like her more than I do. There is something about her stories (at least the ones I have read) that is very dark and depressing, though it's not overt. You almost have a sense of what's going to happen before it does, and you're dreading getting there. I'm not sure if that's the best description or not but I suppose it does get at my ambivalence about the collection.

As a side note, this was the first book that I read on my nook, and it was a great experience.
