The House of Hidden Meanings by RuPaul

dark emotional informative inspiring slow-paced

3.5

An interesting listen! I found the second half of the book more entertaining than the first and overall enjoyed learning more about RuPaul's past. I didn't really vibe with some of his perspectives (like his lifelong belief about being destined for greatness and some of the more reflective parts - guess that's why he's a superstar and I am just a normal person lol), but I knew that going into it based on some of the opinions he shares on his show. Still entertaining enough.
I'd recommend the audiobook, since it's narrated by the author.
