Desire and the Deep Blue Sea by Olivia Dade

5.0

Novellas are so tough to pull off in this genre, but Dade does a beautiful job of keeping the pacing right without sacrificing the plot or character development. The low point was achingly sweet and real, and not just an "oh, bummer" moment. And with an MC who has an anxiety disorder, I loved how she had to figure out how to stand up for her needs.
