Heartless Monster
by Rachel Leigh
I've been looking forward to this book so much. Rachel Leigh can write college and bully romances so well. The fear and suspense are so good that you'll be on the edge of your seat the entire time.
I thought this was a bit lighter than other stories of hers. But certainly not less good!
Elodie and Rome meet at a party. He acts arrogant and she very feisty. When he saves her (without her knowing) she says: I owe you! And she can certainly take that literally.
After the events of that one evening, Rome has been shattered for the rest of his life. When it turns out that Elodie will be his new stepsister, he is out for revenge!
This is such a good story, everything is there: stepsiblings, enemies-to-lovers, bully, revenge, he falls first, he hates her but always saves her, virgin, all her firsts, ...
I gave it 4.5 stars because I thought the ending was a bit rushed. It could have been a few chapters longer. I missed some closure.
