I have mixed feelings about this. I absolutely love Hades. She's absolutely perfect and deserves the entire world. However, her choice in men has me fucking startled. Zed doesn't count, he's also perfect but Lucas and Cass *gag*. Lucas is a child in fucking high school. That shit is nasty. Like he couldn't be a freshman at SGU. Not that it is any better but jeez high school. And the fact Seph likes him. I wonder how that is going to go over between them. And Cass *eye roll*. He's a twat and it's going to take a while to get to how much I liked his character in MK's books. Also, idk if I'm remembering this correctly, but the fact that he got his ass beat by a bunch of 20s is disappointing. I don't mind that he's older than Hades is the fact he's so fucking wishy-washy with his feelings about Hades. Like how can you expect her to fall all over you when you rejected her. Dumbass. I'm also Zed a dumbass for not admitting his feelings for her.

Besides all of that, I like this a lot. It is a lot darker than MK's book and I love that. I love that Hades is a badass bitch that doesn't need anyone if she decides she doesn't need them. I really feel for her that she has to put on this facade just to survive in this world. Ugh, I love her. I'm super excited to continue on with the series.
