“Found you,” he says, and his voice is the same voice that haunts her nightmares, oddly reedy and full of strange, whimsical laughter and sweetness as it chases her down the halls singing ring around the rosey, pockets full of posies... “Found you again, Sindy.”

This season is going to be crazy. I just finished the second book and just wow. I'm surprised that I'm not queasy after all that gore. The Golden Ratio Killer... the one who puts ON a mask to be himself. And somehow that the mask is a mask of a bunny makes it even worse.

Seong-Jae seems to be a frickin Matryoshka doll, because when Malcolm thinks he figured him out, a new layer is there. I think we are at the core now, though I thought that the last book too. I think I'm a bit biased now because I fell in love with these characters, but the author just doesn't write two dimensional characters. Everybody feels real, period. Even the new characters started to grow on me. I'm quite interested what the author will do with Aanga and Adelaine.

The series changed in how the POVs are divided, now it's almost half and half, main duo and side characters. I don't really care about some of the POVs, Gabi's POV doesn't bring anything new to the table that feels relevant for me because I'm much more interested in the mess that is happening in L.A and that one messed up individual chained to the sofa.

I’m so invested in the story now and I’m scared that I have only three more books to read before I catch up. Waiting for the new release is going to be hell.
