i give this book my first 5 star of the series after being very stingy for the others. i adore this book, as much as it breaks my heart.
elide and lorcan own my entire and soul, and they rip my heart out.
aelins actions through the entire series suddenly connecting is pleasing as it is painful.
the tandem read is also an incredibly satisfying way of reading the story, with events unfolding that completely change the other book. the book also stands perfectly well alone, the storylines and perspectives very compelling.
