When I first saw the length of this book, I was thinking is it going to feel too drawn out. But no. Nat and Olli's story required all the pages.
This is a slow-burn hurt/comfort romance between two men, who both struggle with themselves. All the grittiness comes from their internal struggles, and how they decide to deal with them.
The book started with feeling a bit claustrophobic - trapped in a city where you see no future - to feeling light and colourful, when you realise that there is another way to live.
I loved both guys, and they need all the love - which both had from people around them, they just didn't see that.
