This book explores complexity in both male and female societal roles and the prevalent and frustrating 1950’s sexist attitudes towards women. I loved the POV’s from dog’s and babies. 6:30 was definitely my favourite character! Overall I loved the involvement of science and internal misogyny throughout the book. The relationships were heartwarming but helped build this story into a wholesome story of perseverance and hope.
