In Cold Blood by Truman Capote

I wanted to give this book a higher rating, but for me it fell a bit short. It wasn't the way that Capote told the story, or any of the extra detail. I think it was because this book is dated by the language that is in it. By that I mean the slurs that were commonplace at the time of writing were seen as ok. To read it today, it jarred very regularly and took me out of the story.
