This was a great first volume. I'm not the biggest fan of the villainess genre, but I do like stories that go in a different direction or have some sort of twist, and this one is definitely that type. The protagonist, while following the typical trope of being transported into a novel she was reading, doesn't want to be in this world and is doing anything possible to leave. She isn't interested in adapting to her surrounding or changing the contents of the novel. She just misses her family and wants to go home. It's also interesting that the people around her seem to have caught onto how the person they knew has been replaced by this stranger, though no one is saying anything out of fear of being labled as mad. There are a lot of moving parts in this first volume that I'm interested in seeing where they go, so I'll be continuing this series for sure.
