This book does a good job of highlighting how trauma can shape a person into becoming the way Libby grew up to be. It was hard to like Libby at times but Flynn never shied away from reminding us of what she had to endure to get to where she is. The jump of POVs between characters added layers to the story but at times did seem to make the book drag on longer. Towards the end of the book I’m not sure I felt closure but in true crime cases like this in real life closure is rarely the outcome for all those involved
