So many thoughts on this book.. It was cute and awful and funny and distasteful and... well, it had so much potential. This book started out cute for the first chapter or two, anyway. Sure Leah came off as a free spirit with a serious screw loose, but not a bad person. Then the story just got a bit crazed and started getting a bit too outlandish for me. I couldn't get into it and was being pushed away by the obscenity of her behavior. Then suddenly you're thrown into James's side of the story and you're grasping for straws in a 'what the heck' kind of way. Finally, about 2/3 of the way through the story things start to come together and I started actually enjoying what I was reading. I really don't know what I just read and there's no one I would recommend this seriously bizarre story to, but I don't regret reading it and will admit to laughing and smiling a few times despite my permanent furrowed brow.
