Romance is definitely the forefront of this (which I loved) but I also really enjoyed the archeological digs with the indigenous focus, the offers and honor, etc it was definitely felt deeply along with the connection between the love interests. This is really low angst for a huge chunk but then does have a little emotional dip near the end that was important and made sense. Highly recommend!
