Taylor swift songs:  “invisible string”, “willow”, “Sweet nothing”

This was a really cute second book in the small town romance “Lovelight farms” interconnected series. This book is different, though, because it is told in duel POV, whereas book 1 (“Lovelight farms”) was told in single pov. This book follows the grumpy tattooed farmer/handyman, Beckett, who is really a secret cinnamon roll (sweet on the inside) and the sunshine-y influencer, Evelyn St James. This is a grumpy-sunshine and one night (well two nights) stand-to-friends-to-lovers. I really liked getting to see Evelyn on her journey to “find her happy” as she is reeling from the realization that her career may not be what she wants anymore. Her and Beckett’s friendship is so endearing and sweet, even though it is obvious they still have feelings for each other. “Invisible string” is definitely their song (“A string that pulled me out of all the wrong arms right into that dove bar, something wrapped all of my past mistakes in barbed wire)!! Beckett is literally the sweetest human (NOT a spoiler, happened in the first book) he literally took in a momma cat and her three kittens that were abandoned in their barn😭 and is the most caring and helpful person ever!! Love him!!

I’m not a huge fan of the miscommunication or third act breakup, but, besides that the rest was pretty cute.

Overall, really cute, I would recommend!
